Hamburg, June 28, 2022. Quick Commerce is booming in German cities and Getir, the pioneer of ultra-fast delivery, is another international player that has been establishing itself in the highly competitive German market since 2021. For the first major campaign, which is currently on air, the company has now brought the JOM Group on board. The specialists in hybrid marketing communications won the pitch against international networks and will be responsible for developing the media strategy across all sites, as well as the planning and media buying based on this strategy in all relevant channels.
The aim of the campaign, which has been running since mid-May and will continue until the end of June in the top 7 cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Nuremberg, is to increase awareness of Getir and communicate the brand promise of “food in minutes”. At the heart of the campaign are various out-of-home flights that JOM, in close cooperation with Weischer JvB, will target to generate high visibility within the delivery areas.
Getir, in German “Bring!”, was founded by Nazim Salur in Turkey in 2015 and has also been active in Germany since 2021. In its first year, Getir has grown strongly and its drivers, strikingly dressed in purple and yellow, are already on the road in numerous German cities. With the current campaign, Getir aims to further increase brand awareness and capture additional market share.

We are therefore relying on a dominance strategy for the current campaign in the most important delivery areas and also specifically on delivery data from Getir during planning in order to select the most relevant OOH locations. With high advertising pressure, we can achieve targeted high awareness for Getir in these areas,” explains Torsten Hunsicker, Managing Director JOM Group.
