Hamburg, 01.08.2019. JOM Group has successfully prevailed in the pitch process for the jointly tendered media budget of Provinzial NordWest Group and Provinzial Rheinland Versicherung. The Provinzial NordWest Group includes Provinzial Nord and Westfälische Provinzial Versicherung as well as Hamburger Feuerkasse.
Following the multi-stage process, JOM, as the old and new budget holder, will continue to be responsible for media consulting, planning and buying for all offline and online advertising measures. The aim is to expand the brand presence and preference in the respective business areas together with an increased appeal to younger target groups. The gross media volume of all houses is in the lower double-digit million range. Extensive digital advertising measures are used, as well as TV, radio and outdoor advertising.
Provinzial Versicherungen and JOM have already enjoyed a long and successful partnership. The increasingly digitally oriented advertising measures and the dynamic adaptation of advertising content will ensure new interfaces in the future, for example in the areas of brand management and production.
“Successful digital insurance marketing means communicating target group-specific messages at the right touchpoints. And doing so without losing sight of the big picture that is brand development as such,” says Nina Schwerin, Head of Marketing at Provinzial Rheinland Versicherung.
“JOM absolutely convinced us in this regard with a combination of cross-media planning know-how and expertise in brand management. Because in digital media, media control, content design and production are increasingly converging,” adds Norbert Wessels, Head of Strategic Marketing at Provinzial NordWest.
For JOM founder and managing director Michael Jäschke, the budget is not the result of routine unanimity: “It was possible because we have developed together, kept giving each other new impulses and were never satisfied with mediocrity in terms of quality. In terms of communication, the insurance market is in a state of flux. That makes the job particularly interesting and we look forward continuing to contribute to the positive development of the Provinzial brand in the future.”
